How Long it Takes for Electronic Payments to Process

If your payment is made electronically (through online banking, branch ABM, pre-authorized payment or telephone banking), it will post within 2-3 business days.

Your payment will be backdated to the date the transaction was processed by the bank where you made your payment. Banks usually process payments the same business day if they’re entered before 8:30 p.m. EST. Contact your bank for the exact time frame.
