How to redeem my rewards for a statement credit

You can redeem your rewards for statement credits through the Capital One mobile app or your online banking account.

Things to know

  • It usually takes 2 to 3 business days for an account credit to appear on your account, but can sometimes take up to 60 days.
  • A statement credit lowers your overall card balance, but it doesn’t apply toward your minimum monthly payment obligations. You must still make your required minimum payment each month, unless the statement credit clears your outstanding balance for the month.
  • Rewards can only be redeemed by the primary cardholder.

Mobile app

  1. Sign in to the mobile app.
  2. Select More.
  3. Select Rewards.
  4. Select Cash back.
  5. Redeem your entire rewards balance or type the amount of rewards you want to redeem.
  6. Select Continue and then Redeem.

Online banking

  1. Sign in to online banking.
  2. Select View Account.
  3. Select Explore Rewards.
  4. Select Redeem for Cash.
  5. Type the amount of rewards you want to redeem and select Redeem.
