All About PIN Arrival
You may have the option to set up a PIN digitally once your application is approved. If you choose to do so, you will not receive a PIN in the mail. Once your card arrives, you can use the PIN you set at the time of approval to activate your new card.
If you did not have the option to set up a PIN digitally, you’ll receive a copy of your PIN in the mail – it usually arrives a couple of business days after your new card. If you’ve misplaced it or it doesn’t arrive, you can get another copy of your PIN by calling the number on the back of your card. In the menu options, select or say:
- “PIN Options.”
- “Mail me my PIN.”
We’ll then send a new copy of your PIN to the address attached to your credit card account. As a security measure, Capital One customer service agents cannot view or change your PIN.
