How to Go Paperless – Receive Statements Online Only
You can sign up to go paperless, which means you’ll only receive your statements and documents electronically through your Capital One online banking account. Only online banking customers can sign up to receive paperless statements and documents. Don’t have an account? Sign up now.
Note: In some circumstances, we may need to contact you by mail. Be sure to keep your address up to date.
To go paperless through the mobile app:
- Sign in to the mobile app. Don’t have the app? Download it now.
- Select the card for the account you’d like to make paperless.
- Select Statements at the bottom left.
- Select the Simplify your record keeping message at the top.
- Select Confirm to enrol in paperless statements.
To go paperless through online banking:
- Sign in to online banking.
- Click the View Account button for the credit card account you’d like to make paperless.
- Select More Account Services from the taskbar.
- Select Manage Paperless.
- Toggle on Paperless for the account you’d like to receive online statements for.
- Select Update Settings to confirm.
You’ll receive an email confirmation at the email address we have on file for you. Make sure you open your emails from us regularly so we know your address is active. For more information, review the paperless terms and conditions.
If you change your mind, you can also switch back to receiving statements in the mail by selecting More Account Services and then selecting Manage paperless from the Documents and Downloads section of the window that pops up.
